Why appraise your art pieces?

Whether you want to consign your artworks with us or simply want to insure your artwork for what it's worth, art appraisals or art valuations include much more useful information than just the current prices of your art pieces. Each appraisal explains how the final price was determined, some history behind the artwork (including artist biographies and provenance) and personalized suggestions for you (keep or sell the artwork?).  Additional comments relevant to your specific request will also be provided by our certified art appraisers who have more than 25 years of experience in the art market.

If we think that your collection fits in our own, we will contact you for a possible consignment opportunity. At that point, our art consultants will get back with you about what you need to do next.

Art appraisers provide you with expert and non-biased advice. They have access to art price databases, auction and sales reports and "exclusive inside information" about art market trends from around the world. Their only goal is to help you determine how to get the best value out of your artwork, whether you decide to sell or keep it.

ABOUT THE FREE APPRAISAL WEEKEND

On November 17 & 18, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday), we will be offering free verbal appraisals at the gallery. Along with your artwork, please bring any related paperwork such as certificate of authenticity, purchase receipts, past appraisals, etc. Our gallery consultants will provide a general valuation for your artwork so that you can decide whether you can to move forward with a full appraisal or consign your artwork for an auction.
