It’s a place where the size of their imaginations is scaled to a size larger than their own realities – a place where the enormity of the experience outsize their grandest hopes. Enduring memories are made when they are able to experience the full extent of their fantasies and dreams through an experience that will remain unparalleled throughout their adult life.

Many children do not get to enjoy an opportunity such as this because of scarce economic resources. However, some children are trammeled by a weightier, long-term impediment: a life-threatening disease or illness.

Baterbys would like to show its support and help to provide Give Kids The World the help they need.

				Give Kids The World Village With the help of many generous individuals, corporations and partnering wish-granting organizations, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed more than 93,000 families from all 50 states and over 65 countries – each with a child whose life may be curtailed at any point because of a disease or illness. The Village is a 70-acre resort complete with over 100 Villa accommodations, entertainment attractions, whimsical venues, and fun specifically designed for children with special needs. On May 2, a significant percentage of all bids – the entire buyer’s premium – will be donated to the organization. In the hope of sustaining this worthwhile cause, Baterbys Art Auction Gallery will partner with Give Kids The World. Each sale will affect the happiness of one family across the globe. The more we plow into these efforts, the more these children will reap in terms of their grandest fantasies coming to life. The Village was built through the selfless commitment and generous spirit of individuals and corporations who wanted to make a difference in the life of a child. Since 1986, more than 93,000 children have had their dream come true at Give Kids The World. No child in need has ever been turned away – and no child ever will.
