ORLANDO- On Thursday, May 28, 2015 Baterbys Art Gallery, in partnership with Komen Central Florida, will be introducing an exciting exhibition honoring women. “Art des Femmes – An Exhibition of Women’s Art,” will showcase works by women artists and paintings that portray women. Works by Elena Bond, Leonor Fin, Dorit Levi, Linda Le Kinff, Joanne Netting will be highlighted together with works from Itzchak Tarkay, Tomasz Rut, Charles Lee, Pino and many more.
The public is invited to attend the exhibit opening celebration from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Baterbys’ Showroom located at 6848 Stapoint Court, Winter Park, FL. 32792. The event reception will unite fine artwork with fashion, music, and delicious bites, all provided by gallery partners and local vendors. A silent auction will feature fine artwork and items provided by various businesses and sponsors.
The reception is FREE to the public (a $10.00 donation to Komen Central Florida is suggested). For every $10 donation, Baterbys will provide a raffle ticket, a $25 artwork credit, custom framing discount, and a gift bag. Raffle prizes include a two-night stay at the Springhill Suites Marriott near SeaWorld Orlando, framed works of art, and a Salvador Dali offset lithograph. Donations can be made in advance or at the door.
